"Line" Official Music Video Released

The official music video for Latvia's entry for the 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine has been released today
Latvia has become the latest country today to reveal the official music video for their song for this years Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine. Latvia are being represented by Triana Park with the song "Line". Triana Park won Supernova, the Latvian selection process for Eurovision by over 30% to their closest competitor, The Ludvig.
Triana Park is formed of Agnese Rakovska, guitarist Artūrs Strautiņš, drummer Edgars Viļums, and bassist Kristaps Ērglis and have tried to represent Latvia at Eurovision on six occasions. The band was formed in 2008 and finished fourth in that years selection with the song "Bye Bye", ending 11,000 votes behind eventual winners Pirates of the Sea in the first round of voting. Before returning to the Latvian selection in 2017, the group last participated in 2012 when they finished 9th in the final.
Triana Park will hope to continue Latvia's resurgence in the contest following six years of failed qualifications between 2009 and 2014. Since 2015 the country has qualified for the contest every year and has become the strongest performing of the Baltic nations in the contest.
Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest:
Latvia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000, being the last of the Baltic nations to join the contest. On their debut Brainstorm finished 3rd overall with the song “My Star”. It was in 2002 that Latvia won the contest, with Marie N taking a surprise victory with the song “I Wanna”. Latvia onl participated in 2002 thanks to the withdrawal of Portugal from that year’s contest. Latvia struggled in to the contest after 2002 failing to qualify for the final for six years between 2009 and 2014. In the past two years Latvia has finished 6th in the final and 15th in the final.
